There is a bit of March Miracle rains this couple of weeks to cap off a rather dry winter. That’s good news, plus it has for the most part been a gentle shower to lessen the chance of hillside flooding. We take our good news where we can find it.
Pretty much everyone was taking a breather to decide what’s next after the recent fires, the general concensus now is that we are going to be in for a very active real estate spring. Contractors are booked for at least a couple months out and most agents are telling their transaction coordinators to clear their desks because the mood is returning to our native optimism.
I have a couple new listings with more on the way. One has stunning ridgetop views on Warm Srings Road in Glen Ellen and another backs up to the Adobe Golf Course in Petaluma. With the continued low inventory of existing homes for sale, and the inevitable rise in interest rates, if you are thinking of making a real estate move, I believe it’s better sooner than later.
I am super pleased to welcome Les Pascals French pâtisserie to Glen Ellen. I managed to score a couple of pain au chocolat (fabulous) and am planning to work my way through the rest of the menu in the coming days. Best to arrive early as there is a line out the door on weekends. The decor, staff and menu are
all what we have long wished for.
